We at Bliss are very excited to have you be a part of what we do for animals in need.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">So what does becoming a foster home involve, exactly?</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- you simply provide love and shelter for the pet, and Bliss takes care of the food and medical expenses, and monthly flea and heartworm preventative</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- we work together to keep the postings/listings/pictures/descriptions updated on our website, Petfinder, etc.</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- we work together to respond to potential adopters and screen individuals to ensure a good match up front</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- you schedule the actual adoption/placement of the pet, if you are comfortable doing so</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- you bring your foster pet to adoption days as often as possible (at least once a month) in order to increase his/her chance of adoption</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- we will have you take in a foster pet that has already been out of the pound for at least 2 weeks (through the quarantine period) so there is a smaller chance for illness to appear and spay/neuter/shots, etc are taken care of already. we will also do our best to give you a foster pet that is a good match for your home, family environment, and current pets</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- if your foster pet is not working out at your home, the pet can come back to us and we encourage you to chose a different pet instead. if you are not able to, that's ok!</span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br /></span><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- we don't want to overwhelm you with the process or the details. our job is to make it easy for you to be a part of animal rescue! you will find it's very rewarding to take on the temporary care of a variety of dogs and/or cats and to see them off to their new forever homes! it can be hard to say goodbye, yes, but there is always another cutie pie waiting for you ...</span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3776361564876205227-355526765320564307?l=wwwblissanimalhavengetinvolved.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Jessiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02144627491086608877noreply@blogger.com0
